We love to make and we love the process of making.
We live for the battle between making and made and the joy and the struggle of bringing custom designed objects to life.
There is no such thing as a linear making process. We get lost and we get found - getting lost is learning, getting found is understanding, and the end result is an object that made us better.
Our fragrance is wet concrete molds, warm sawdust and just cut pine, curing resin and sharp, machined metal. Breath it in.
The practical stuff.
We work across four main fields:
Industrial design
Using the design brains of our sister company Slash, we focus on industrial design that is focused, minimal and beautiful.
We love the Dieter Rams mantra of ‘Less but better’ and apply it to every piece we work on.
Prototyping
Where we learn our lessons, and find the lines between theory and practice. Every object is a result of prototyping, refinement, experimentation and a healthy dose of curiosity. And every final object is refined through a process that challenged us through prototyping.
Micro-production
We have the ability to produce small scale product runs in-house, dependent on the object itself and the complexity of its creation process.
Production management
When the scale of production rises above what we would see as micro-production we facilitate the production management process to make sure that the personality and individuality of each object is not lost through a larger production model.
